About

The most expensive waste in your organisation is the capability you already pay for and don't use.

Organisations lose so much when good people stay quiet.

As a COO, you want to maximise business impact by making best use of the talent you have.

It's really that simple.

Paula Beattie, CEO & Founder of Inspire Confidence

Inspire Confidence event gave me courage and self belief

Confidence means people speak up and share their ideas with conviction. They engage and collaborate.
All key drivers for business success.

Is Your Workplace Helping People To Succeed?

People are staying quiet.

Your surveys flag 'communication and engagement issues.'

Underneath, the real question is whether people trust what they know, believe their voice lands, are clear on expectations and feel they have the autonomy to take decisions.

The easy answer is to focus only on creating psychological safety. It is not enough.

Psychological safety opens the door.
It takes confidence to walk through it.

The four things I hear most often

"This person is so capable but they're quiet. How do I help them speak up?"

"We have a 'Them And Us' culture between the board and individual contributors, or between two teams. How do we break down walls?"

"Since the change, people aren't collaborating, joining in or putting their hand up the way they used to - and our managers are out of ideas."

"Our most talented people are leaving and no one is quite sure how to make them want to stay."

What are the benefits of confidence training?

  • People speak up in meetings to share ideas and raise concerns without overthinking, and articulate themselves clearly and confidently

  • Employees begin volunteering to deliver presentations without being thrown by the pressure

  • Individual contributors who had plateaued start applying for promotions and getting them

  • Team members are willing to challenge constructively

  • Managers initiate difficult conversations, with the skills to preserve the relationship

  • People previously dismissed as too quiet, actively participate in change initiatives

  • Managers build trust and improve their team's engagement scores, whilst seeing greater retention        of key people.

Why clients call me...

You don't need a wellbeing programme. You need to build confidence that changes how people speak up under pressure: on a customer-facing call, in communication within teams and across different floors and bigger rooms.

That's where I come in.

I have spent 25 years building confidence, agency, clarity and safety inside 350+ high-pressure teams across F1, aerospace, the NHS and engineering.

My expertise in engineering and change management - together with the fact that my own confidence once deserted me and I learned how to restore it - mean I don't just understand how low self-esteem feels.  I understand what it takes to rebuild a person's confidence so they can speak up with conviction and self-belief.

And I can train your leaders to build it too.

My ideal clients

The COO, Head of L&D, Head of People and Culture or senior leader for an organisation of 250 employees upwards, wanting to help people speak up and contribute with conviction.

It's fine if you want a small programme of confidence coaching and training rather than large-scale cultural change. We can also discuss training your own internal L&D team to deliver my training.

However, I would not be a fit for an organisation who just wants to improve its performance figures without caring about the people working there.

If you fit the criteria, feel free to book a free 15 min consultation here.

My Programmes

The Quiet Power® programme builds confidence in individuals. Cohorts of up to 15 people across your organisation, in a supportive group. 6 modules. Time taken around 4 months. Includes ebooks.

How do we measure the change?

Lasting confidence is not measured by how inspired someone feels at the end of a workshop. It is measured by what changes in the weeks and months afterwards: speaking up, leading more confidently, handling difficult conversations, contributing ideas and taking ownership.
